Finished Projects > Perfect Projects

Momentum matters more than perfection

Hey Blender friend 👋

There was a point where I had 5–6 Blender projects sitting on my hard drive...
None of them finished. All of them "almost there"... but I kept tweaking, adjusting, chasing perfection.

And the worst part?
I barely learned anything from any of them.

What changed everything was a simple shift:

Done is better than perfect.

Now when I start a project, I treat it like a sprint:

  • Build a solid version fast

  • Get it to a "finished" point I’m happy with

  • Move on

Here’s what happened when I made this mindset shift:

  • I actually finished projects

  • I leveled up my skills way faster

  • I built a real portfolio instead of a folder of half-finished ideas

You learn way more finishing 10 good projects
than you do endlessly polishing 1 "perfect" one that never sees the light of day.

If you ever feel stuck in Blender, remember:

Your next project will always be better than your current one.
But you have to actually finish first.
